"Rochester Youth Outreach"

Using music and arts as a catalyst for youth leadership, empowerment and civic engagement

About Us

Rochester Youth Outreach (RYO) served young people of Rochester ages 13-18 for several years prior to closing in 2014 using the arts and music as catalysts for youth leadership, empowerment, and civic engagement.

Staff

Yearning to reach young people, Nicholas Moore joined the staff of RYO as a Rochester Youth Year worker right after graduating from Roberts Wesleyan College in 2012 and served until it closed 2 years later.

Support

Our funding was unsecured for another year and we reached out for help with a goal of $20,000 to support keeping the center open. Unfortunately the funds were not forthcoming, and we had to close in 2014.
